- Wool creates its own micro-climate around your baby, regulating temperature and keeping them warm in winter and cool in summer. Wool can retain heat or release excess body heat as needed.
- Spills, splashes, accidents… wool will keep your baby dry for longer! Wool is able to absorb 30% of its body weight in moisture before feeling damp. Wool’s moisture regulating properties will draw dampness away from your baby’s skin. This helps them keep dry and comfortable (and therefore happy!).
- Wool is hypoallergenic, has anti-bacterial qualities, and picks up less dust and lint from the air. It is thus suitable for children with skin and other allergies.
- Wool has joined the 21st century! When it is spun very finely it is non-scratch. The vests and leggings we stock are made from superfine yarn and will not feel itchy against your little one’s skin.
- With its ability to regulate body temperature and therefore prevent overheating, wool reduces the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Studies show wool bedding improves deep regenerative sleep (I.W.T.O). This means it is not just your baby who will sleep more!
- Wool is also naturally odour resistant, and dirt and water repellent. Thus, it keeps your baby clean and needs washing less frequently.
- It is flame retardant making it the safest choice for bedding.
- It is durable – it will keep more than one baby happy if cared for properly.
- Wool is 100% natural, renewable, sustainable and biodegradable. Some of the products we stock are also certified organic.
